﴿6﴾ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا طَحٰٮهَا

And the earth and Him Who spread it,
﴿7﴾ وَنَفۡسٍ وَّمَا سَوَّاٮهَا
ترجمہ : اور انسان کی اور اس کی جس نے اس (کے اعضا) کو برابر کیا
And a soul and Him Who perfected it
﴿8﴾ فَاَلۡهَمَهَا فُجُوۡرَهَا وَتَقۡوٰٮهَا
ترجمہ : پھر اس کو بدکاری (سے بچنے) اور پرہیزگاری کرنے کی سمجھ دی
And inspired it (with conscience of) what is wrong for it and (what is) right for it.
﴿9﴾ قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ مَنۡ زَكّٰٮهَا
ترجمہ : کہ جس نے (اپنے) نفس (یعنی روح) کو پاک رکھا وہ مراد کو پہنچا
He is indeed successful who causeth it to grow,
﴿10﴾ وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَنۡ دَسّٰٮهَاؕ
ترجمہ : اور جس نے اسے خاک میں ملایا وہ خسارے میں رہا
And he is indeed a failure who stunteth it.
﴿11﴾ كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُوۡدُ بِطَغۡوٰٮهَآ
ترجمہ : (قوم) ثمود نے اپنی سرکشی کے سبب (پیغمبر کو) جھٹلایا
(The tribe of) Thamud denied (the truth) in their rebellious pride,
﴿12﴾ اِذِ انۢبَعَثَ اَشۡقٰٮهَا
ترجمہ : جب ان میں سے ایک نہایت بدبخت اٹھا
When the basest of them broke forth
﴿13﴾ فَقَالَ لَهُمۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰهِ نَاقَةَ اللّٰهِ وَسُقۡيٰهَاؕ
ترجمہ : تو خدا کے پیغمبر (صالح) نے ان سے کہا کہ خدا کی اونٹنی اور اس کے پانی پینے کی باری سے عذر کرو
And the messenger of Allah said: It is the she-camel of Allah, so let her drink!
﴿14﴾ فَكَذَّبُوۡهُ فَعَقَرُوۡهَا ۙ فَدَمۡدَمَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ بِذَنۡۢبِهِمۡ فَسَوّٰٮهَا

But they denied him, and they hamstrung her, so Allah doomed them for their sin and rased (their dwellings).

He dreadeth not the sequel (of events).
